What are the fees once a project is completed on rentAfreelance ?

We charge the lowest fees (after project completion) for providing secure freelance marketplace. For each successful project, we charge 10% of the project amount or $3 whichever is more to the coder/provider. We also provide a unique optional post-project testing by our experienced testers. For this we charge 10% to the buyer. Also We have one more unique optional facility viz "Complete Project Management" by which rentAfreelance.com will manage your complete project right from posting bid request to communicating with bidders, inviting experienced bidders, selecting best bidder, managing project work progress and testing final product. For this we charge only 15% of project fees to the buyer. Even if you are not technical person, rentAfreelance.com can help you. We also provide a unique optional facility of choosing the best bidder/coder for your project FREE of cost in case if you feel uncomfortable dealing with each and every bidder and choose best coder for you.

What is the fee for "Complete Project Management" offered by rentAfreelance.com ?

rentAfreelance.com charge only 15% of project amount as fees to the buyer for Complete Project Management.

What is the fee for "Project Testing Facility" offered by rentAfreelance.com ?

How do I receive my earnings?

For users outside India, PayPal is only method for receiving payments as of now. We will be adding more methods as soon as possible. For users in India, there are two ways to receive your earnings. You can chose payment to your PayPal account or you can opt to receive your amount via cheque in Indian Rupees (The conversion rate will be provided by rentAfreelance.com before final payout to the coder. Coder/Provider will have option to chose PayPal).

Can I receive my earnings in my local currency?

Yes (Only users in India as of now)

Can I receive my earnings in my local bank account?

Not as of no. We will introduce this method as soon as possible for India users.

Can I use PayPal to make payments or receive my earnings?

Yes, you can use PayPal both for making payments as well as receiving your earnings.

How secure is the payment method used at rentAfreelance.com ?

We use PayPal service for handling payments through PayPal as well as credit card payments. Payment through PayPal's gateways is very much secure and is one of the most reputed payment gateway.

How can I post a new project?

You can post a new project by clicking here. You should login first before posting a new project or bid request. Alternatively you can login to rentAfreelance.com and click on "Post New Project" link on the left.

What security does rentAfreelance.com offer to buyers?

The agreed amount of the project will be initially put into an escrow account maintained by rentAfreelance.com. Only once buyer accept the work completed by provider then only the amount is transferred into coder's account (After deducting applicable fees). In case if a buyer feels that the coder has not done work well or has not completed the work then the buyers can file an arbitration request at dispute@rentAfreelance.com and rentAfreelance.com will initiate a conversation between both parties individually. We would always try to make business happen by letting coder chance of completing rest of work if buyer's time limitations permit. In case if we can not reach to a amicable conclusion, then we would evaluate the work submitted by coder so far and depending on project type and criticality of remaining work, we would either transfer 100% or partial amount back to buyer's account form our escrow account.

What is Escrow account ?

rentAfreelance.com offers enhanced protection to both parties by putting the agreed project amount in an escrow account maintained by rentAfreelance.com. On successful completion of the project, rentAfreelance.com will transfer the amount from escrow account to coder's rentAfreelance.com account after deducting fees. This provides protection both the parties in the sense that neither party may lose their deserved money.

How secure my money is in escrow account ?

Your money is 100% secure in the escrow account. We shall not transfer the money to either party except work is fully completed or called off.

I am a non-technical person. How rentAfreelance.com can help me in getting my work done?

How do I search for experienced coders/providers for my project?

You can click on the link "Search providers" link on the left side of the buyer page. Here you can search provider by name, city and domain of expertise

Can I invite some coder to bid on my project?

We will be introducing this method very soon.

How can I bid for new project?

There are multiple ways of select a project for bidding. First, you may see the latest projects list scrolling at the right side of the page where you can find most recently posted projects. Secondly, you can click on the browse link either at the top or left side of your seller page. Third, you can click on Search link on top of the page or "Search Projects" link on left side of the page. You need to enter the bid amount and your details of your offer. You can also attach any document or previous work sample (size limit 100k)

What security does rentAfreelance.com offer to coders/providers?

Unlike other companies, rentAfreelance.com understands the value of hard work put in by the coder/provider and tries to compensate them with partial amount (depending on outcome of arbitration) in case if the buyer feels that the work is not completed fully and rentAfreelance.com understands that the work done so far can provide value to the buyer.

How do I search a specific type of project?

There are multiple ways to search for a project. For simple search, type your search criteria in the search box on the top of any page or for advanced search, either click on Search link on the top of the page or "Search projects" link on left side of the page.

When do I get my earnings?

As of now we send out payments at the end of each month. In future, we would be increasing the frequency of payment payouts in a month.

Why can't I bid on a particular bid request?

There could be multiple reasons for the same.

1. The Project / Bid request could have expired

2. The Project / Bid request could have been cancelled by the buyer

3. Owner of a particular project/bid request can not bid on his own project/bid request

Why am I not able to login?

There could be multiple reasons for the same.

1. Please make sure that you are using your email address to login to rentAfreelance.com and the password is correct. Passwords are case sensitive.

2. In case if you have recently registered, you might not had activated the login by clicking on the activation link sent to your email address. You must verify your email address by clicking on the link before you can login to rentAfreelance.com

3. Click here to resend the activation link if you did not receive the email in 10 minutes or if the email accidently got deleted
